In 2025, the platform renamed its <a href=\"https:\/\/hostex.io\/blog\/airbnb-host-only-fee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">host-only structure<\/a> the &#8220;single fee&#8221; and tightened who must use it (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.airbnb.com\/help\/article\/1857\">\u0e28\u0e39\u0e19\u0e22\u0e4c\u0e0a\u0e48\u0e27\u0e22\u0e40\u0e2b\u0e25\u0e37\u0e2d Airbnb<\/a>). Two structures still describe how that fee works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u0e04\u0e48\u0e32\u0e18\u0e23\u0e23\u0e21\u0e40\u0e19\u0e35\u0e22\u0e21\u0e41\u0e22\u0e01<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the split model, the cost is split. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The host pays about 3 percent (4 percent in Brazil). The guest pays a separate fee of 14.1\u201316.5 percent on top of the nightly rate. The guest sees that the guest fee is itemized before they pay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u0e04\u0e48\u0e32\u0e18\u0e23\u0e23\u0e21\u0e40\u0e19\u0e35\u0e22\u0e21\u0e04\u0e23\u0e31\u0e49\u0e07\u0e40\u0e14\u0e35\u0e22\u0e27<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the single model, one fee comes out of the host payout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most hosts pay 15.5 percent. The rest typically pay 14\u201316 percent, and listings in Brazil and Mexico pay 16 percent. A New Name<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2020, Airbnb offered two structures: split fee and host-only fee. Who It Applies To<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The single fee is mandatory for traditional hospitality listings such as hotels and serviced apartments. It is also mandatory for hosts who use property management software. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the past, hosts in the United States, Canada, the Bahamas, Mexico, Argentina, Taiwan, and Uruguay could keep split pricing if they used a PMS. And now, that exception is gone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.
