The Owner Connect<\/strong> is a tool designed specifically for channel managers, allowing you to generate owner reports with a single click. These reports include details on income, expenses, and management fees, helping owners clearly understand their property’s performance and the net income after channel manager fees or commissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Channel managers can easily send the PDF owner reports to the respective property owners for reconciliation at the end of the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Use Owner Connect?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. Log into Hostex and navigate to Owner Connect<\/a>.<\/li>
  2. Add an owner and input the owner\u2019s details and the properties they own.<\/li>
  3. Specify your management fee (or commission) percentage.<\/li>
  4. Decide whether to show a detailed breakdown or just the final amount.<\/li>
  5. Select the currency for the report. All amounts will be automatically converted to your chosen currency based on the current exchange rate.<\/li>
  6. Click to generate the report.<\/li>
  7. Send it to the owner’s email.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    How to Modify or Delete an Owner?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    1. Log into Hostex and go to Owner Connect<\/a>.<\/li>
    2. Click on the owner you wish to modify or delete.<\/li>
    3. Use the button next to their name to Remove, Disable, or Edit the owner\u2019s information.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. Log into Hostex and navigate to Owner Connect.<\/a><\/li>
      2. Click on the owner you wish to modify.<\/li>

      4. Add or remove properties.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          2. Click on the owner whose report you want to regenerate.<\/li>
          3. Use the button next to the report to regenerate it.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Important Notes of Owner Connect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
            • The amount for bookings spanning multiple months will be calculated based on the proportional distribution of nights across those months.<\/li>
            • Only the main Hostex account has access to the Owner Connect feature.<\/li>
            • After adding an owner, you can only generate reports for the previous month; current-month reports are not supported (as reports are intended for end-of-month reconciliation).<\/li>
            • Reports will not automatically update; they must be manually regenerated for new data.<\/li>
