Why Are There Different Values for “Monthly Revenue” in the Metrics?

The values in the Statistics and Transactions reports may differ due to their distinct methods of calculation.

Statistics Report

In the Statistics report, the booking amount is assigned based on the number of nights stayed. Therefore, when viewing monthly statistics, the revenue from a single booking may be split across two months.

Example:
If a guest books a stay from March 28 to April 3, the revenue for the first three days will be attributed to March, while the remaining three days will be recorded in April.

Transactions Report

In contrast, the Transactions report records payments based on the transaction date. Any income or expenses are recorded in the month they occur.

Example:
If a guest books accommodations on February 1 for a stay starting on April 3, the revenue from this booking will appear in the Transactions report for February 1.
