Prerequisites

Before connecting Hostex with Alertify, make sure you have the following:

  • An active Alertify dashboard account with at least one connected property.
  • Alertify devices are installed and connected to Wi-Fi in your properties.

How to Connect Alertify with Hostex

  1. Log in to your Alertify dashboard.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click on Integrations.
  1. Select Hostex from the list of available integrations.
  2. Press the Connect button in the top right corner.
  3. Review the Terms and Conditions, then click Agree and Continue.
  4. You’ll be redirected to the Hostex authorization page—you may be asked to log in to Hostex.
  5. Grant permission by selecting Authorize Alertify.
  6. You’ll be returned to the Alertify dashboard and see a confirmation that your Hostex integration was successful.

Units Import

To confirm that your units were imported correctly from Hostex:

  1. From the Integrations menu, click on Hostex again.
  2. Go to the Link Unit tab at the top of the screen.
  3. You’ll see a list of units imported from Hostex.
  • If the units show a button labeled ‘Unlink’, this means they’re already linked successfully.
  • Linked units ensure that any after-incident reports generated under the ‘Alerts’ tab will include the correct guest data pulled directly from Hostex.

How to Link a Unit

If you need to link a unit manually:

  1. Click the Link button next to the relevant unit.
  2. Choose the corresponding unit from your Hostex account.
  3. Press Create a link.

That’s it! Your unit is now fully synced between Hostex and Alertify.
