Cendra acts as an invisible General Manager for your short-term rental business. Integrating it with your Hostex account offers several key advantages:

Connecting Hostex to Cendra is a straightforward process that involves generating an API token in Hostex and pasting it into your Cendra workspace.

Phase 1: Prepare your Cendra Workspace

  1. Visit app.cendra.ai to create an account and begin the self-onboarding process.
  2. Enter your company details to initialize your workspace.
  3. When prompted to choose your PMS, select Hostex.

Phase 2: Generate an API Token in Hostex

  1. Log in to your Hostex account.
  2. Navigate to Workplace > Open API.
  3. Click the Add New button.
  4. In the name field, enter “Cendra” and click Create.
  5. Copy the generated API token.

Phase 3: Finalize the Connection

  1. Return to your Cendra workspace.
  2. Paste the API token you copied from Hostex into the required field.
  3. Select your first property to begin testing the integration.
  4. Once you are satisfied with the setup, toggle the connection to Live.

After the integration is active, Cendra will begin loading your property data and guest information. Your guest communications and property tasks will start to sync, allowing the AI to manage your daily operations behind the scenes.
